(Correspondent Hong Jun) The Graduate School of CUG donated over 5000 sets of stationary to CUG affiliated school on April 12, as an effort to further promote the interaction between graduate education and nine-year compulsory education. Not only does the donation support the development of the affiliated school, but also encourages the students to innovate, surpass, and worship truth and beauty. The school’s philosophy of “equip every child with both emotional quotient and intelligence quotient, and inspire students to pursue the true, the good and the beautiful” is also advanced. Li Yibo, headmaster of the affiliated school, and Hong Jun, vice president of Graduate School, attended the donation activity.
Academic degree and graduate education are the core pillars sustaining the “Double First-Class” construction of CUG and the important strength to build a world-class research university in Earth Sciences in the near future. Meanwhile, the affiliated school is the firm backing of our higher education, playing a vital role in the cultivation of both teenager talents and higher education talents, and contributing to the economic and social development!
